Mastering the Call to Action
Digital Advertising in Bunbury means nothing if you have no idea how to use your Call
to Actions or (CTA's), because a Call to action may possibly be the easiest way
for you to produce a lead. It can make or break depending upon how weak or
strong your CTA is, and so I really want to give you a few tips to make sure
that you are doing the best you can to grow your brand and generate those
critical leads.
Wording
Really easy,
stay clear from generic words that are going to make you seem desperate or like
you are pushing for a sale. For example, selecting between the words, 'buy' and
'shop' as a CTA, one might assume that they each mean the same thing. But you
will have to understand that lots of people on the web normally avoid
commitment, and so subconsciously even there is a habit for people to think
that the phrase 'buy' is closing them into something, while 'shop' is a way for
them to find out more facts. The issue I am trying to make is that you really
should think about the wording and avoid words that have unexpected
implications.
Shape and Colour
It may seem
strange, but Shape and colour of your CTA can affect its effectiveness. In the
world of Digital Advertising there have been a number of studies into the idea
of layout and its affect upon a person's perception, and essentially one theory
claims that curves are the leading way to go. So, if you wish to try and
optimise even more, think about making the button for your call to action
curved, rather than a rectangle.
Now, colour,
this is a further area that there are a few theories on. Some people would have
you believe that green is great because it means 'go', but to stay away from
red because it is 'stop', or that blue is calming so it may make people more
relaxed ... In the end there really isn't any conclusive evidence to suggest
one option over some other, so just choose what works best for your concept.
One point that I will point out though is that you should be aware of the font
size and colour-- If you want your digital advertising to be most efficient in
the Bunbury area, it is a good idea to try and keep it different from the rest
of your content, but don't go too ridiculous.
Location
Where your call
to action is set is quite vital to digital advertising growth.
All that I
suggest by this is ensure that you don't have it stashed behind-the-scenes
somewhere, or that you have way too much text that is convoluting the Call to
action.
Ultimately it
all comes down to identifying the combination that helps you, remember your
wording, shape, colour, size and positioning of your brand's Call To Action,
and when you bring all the elements together just think simple and think about
your consumer.
